Well, hello there, my name is Sarah G and I would first like to thank you for checking out my blog! I hope you find it helpful, inspirational or at the very least, entertaining. I was born in southern Indiana and raised in Louisville, KY. Being a southern gal, I come from a family where cooking/baking is the cornerstone of love and life. When we're happy - we bake, when we're upset - we bake, when we're angry - well, then we stay the heck away from the kitchen as my family is also very accident prone...but you get the point!
To me, baking is like meditation; it's my way of calming down and taking a minute to breath and become centered again.
I now reside in Indianapolis with my son, who is already interested in picking up after his ma but is also content in being my #1 taste tester. My dream is to one day own my own bakery. In the meantime, my short term goal is to learn as many new recipes and techniques as possible.
